2 Samuel 6:14
14 And David danced before the LORD with all his might; and David was girded with a linen ephod.
When King David had the Ark near him again he became full of joy and danced in the presence of his Lord with all of his might. Not only that but he stripped himself of all that he was by removing his royal robes and let go of all of his cares before the Lord. He wasn't worried about what the people may have thought about him as he brought himself low and exalted his Lord.
You and I today must find this joy in the presence of our lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. And allow this joy to overtake us and begin worshipping Him with all of our strength. Not worrying about what others may think while we exalt our Father.
The Lord is looking for those who will worship Him with this same care free attitude. Not thinking of ourselves to highly and just enjoying the presence of God in our lives. He has shown Himself Faithful to us and this faithfulness should ignite a joy inside of us that is greater then anything going on around us.
Worship and Praise is about letting go and losing yourself in the presence of our God and Father. There you will find victory and freedom.
